"This is a wonderful hotel and I look forward to returning here. The location and view are spectacular. They have so many thoughtful amenities from blankets and shawls out by the beach chairs and fire pits. The breakfast were made up of delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches/items. Our room which was right off the pool was large, clean and perfect. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and if you preferred a different type of pillow you could request it. The hotel is right by all the...

"The property was very clean and close to lots of restaurants. The area was actually quite relaxing"

"Loved that the Breakfast was included. Staff was really friendly the parking and deposit was really affordable compared to Other hotels in the area. I would definitely be staying again wile in Sandiego."

"We will always return to ocean palms! We have been vacationing with them for 23 years now! We have made so many wonderful memories together there!"

No check-in instructions were sent on the day of arrival, so we had to contact the property and wait for a response. The room lacked a closet, drawers, and hangers. It also did not have air conditioning, only a ceiling fan and window fan. The room had privacy and safety issues. The blinds had holes,...

"Everything was great check-in was perfect friendly staff. I was a little bothered by the fact that it smelled like the pillows hadn’t been washed. I’m just super picky about smells and it smelled like someone’s head."

"Best Place to stay in Carlsbad Village. The suites are the way to go."

"This is a very cute place."

"The room feels dirty, the pictures are deceptive. Ants were in the room. Really unfortunate because I went off of the ratings on here. It’s like a 2 star motel tbh"

"Excellent location across the street from the beach with partial ocean view from the front deck. The property felt clean and had lots of stuff to use in the kitchen which made meals easy. Staff was super communicative and easy to reach for any questions. The backyard was beautiful and well mantained, felt like a tropical hideaway."

"The room was clean and spacious and breakfast was great. We will come back."
