"Fun hostel to stay at while still being in a private room. Bed was extremely comfortable. Water in the shower was lukewarm at best most times. My only real complaint is that my room was on the 6th floor and the elevator only went up to floor 4 so I had to lug a 50lb bag up 2 flights of extremely narrow stairs with no assistance. "

"This hotel was in such a bad, dirty neighborhood. It was super dangerous at night. The hotel is very run down and needs many, many repairs. There were sometimes no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The room itself was so small it was hard to move around in. I could touch both walls with my hands and I am 5’2”! There was no air conditioning or WiFi. There was a tiny, old fan blowing very little air. The staff was pretty nice and helpful though. "

"Ótimo hotel pra famílias. Mt bem localizado, pertinho de tudo, mas sem barulhos. Vista linda, gramados e jardins bem cuidados. A piscina poderia ser modernizada, pois é muito antiga. O restante também é antigo mas tem o charme da Fazenda. Funcionários no hotel são solícitos e atenciosos. Atenção especial pra Carol que foi muito educada sempre."

Destaque para o atendimento dos anfitriões, Jaison, Cristina e, em especial, Beth que nos disponibilizou um "kit" café da manhã fora do horário pois fomos para a Maratona do RJ e saímos muito cedo do Residencial :) A localização é excelente no sentido de estarmos a poucos metros da agitação da Lapa (menos de 500metros da escadaria...

We had a misunderstanding with the check in so i recommend having your schedule well planned out. The kitchen didn't have enough tools for cooking and for a family of five, the pots and the frying pan were too small. Consider...
