"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"We have just had a great 10 night stay in the cottage and loved it's location. So much wildlife around and such a quirky cottage. So close and an easy drive to Newport beach and all the locals were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again."

"Manorbier is a wonderful place to stay with the cottage being just half an hour walk from the beach and the village centre 15 minutes walk. There are so many places to visit and fantastic walks. The cottage is lovely and perfect for 2 people. Our only negative was the little garden doesn’t get the sun to sit in. "

"The photos do not show this place as it is. The main issue is that the bed is in a loft space - up a very steep ladder - its claustrophobic and difficult to access if your knees and ankles are not 10 years old. Couple that with it having an unexpected wood fired hot tub - and being left only 3 small composite logs to light it for 3 nights - not enough to get it hot day 1 - and who wants to spend the evening up to your arms in soot trying to light it anyway - say its log fired in the ad / say...

"The property, the location and amenities were all perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 4. Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. "This really comfortable home has everything you could want for your stay. It is tastefully decorated and has a beautiful garden. It was very clean and we all loved our stay. "The house is very beautiful. Enjoyed several challenging walks close by. Needed to bring supplies such as salt, pepper and basic spices. Also needed shampoo. Called on first day about five light bulbs out in kitchen and other rooms that were not replaced during our stay. Also needed a small non stick pan to cook eggs. Be aware that range top needed to be turned off and on to start working. "

"This really is a fantastic flat. The views are spectacular - I found it hard to tear myself away from the balcony. Even when the weather isn’t great you can really enjoy looking out at the sea. It’s a really big space, and every room is beautifully furnished. It is a very relaxing place to spend a week away. Recommend kayak trip with Tenby Adventures, and dinosaur park if you are stuck for something to do with kids on a rainy day. "
