"Very nice, clean, Thai-style hotel just across the road from the beach. It's a B300-400 ride from Rayong Bus Terminal 1 by taxi. Breakfast buffet (on weekends) is limited, Rice soup and fried rice are good though. Staff was very good and helpful."

"It was that bad. People there were really nice and obviously the price should have make me think twice. There is absolutely nothing around, people called us a taxi to get to the pier in the morning but the guy charged us 300THB when the XL bolt was 150THB. Beds are better in jail and there was red ants all over the bed in one room. You have to pour a bucket full of water on the toilet when you're done .. honestly dont recommend even for 1 night but we are still alive so ... "

"Samet Ville was a wonderful surprise for us as first-time visitors. It is a rustic setting with a private beach and a wonderfully warm bay inlet. The sand is soft and clean, and the villas range from rustic to modern. The staff was terrific, and the food options were plentiful. This setting is far down the island at Ao Wai, requiring a taxi or motorbikes to move about the island.
