We loved staying in Madrid. As for the accommodation, the location was fantastic! I gave it a 3/5 because the check in process was not smooth and although AC was listed in the ad, it was actually just two small fans and that is not the same thing!!!! We had to keep the windows open to stay tolerably cooled off and that was super loud with the people out on the streets in the city so for that reason it wasn’t as great as it could have been.

Location nice, apartment in bad shape.

The location of the apartment was nice, but the apartment itself was not as listed. The pictures were removed from the listing after our stay began so we couldn't show a comparison, but the wall papers were peeling off, the bathroom door didn't open all the way, and the apartment was not in great shape. The wifi didn't work the whole time we were there, even after asking the host to fix it. They never followed up with us to let us know why it wouldn't work.

Lousy checkin

Basic clean one bedroom place. Tried to spice it up with wine bottle which didn't drink. No info page on apt, no wifi Couldn't get address until day before checkin, then couldn't get information that needed to be at the door of the apartment and go into VRBO app to have landlord click open the door. Was having trouble with getting connection, so had to go to hotel downstairs to use their wifi while my friend stayed at the door, to get let in. Very confusing and started stay off bad.Couldn't close bathroom door as stuck so bad on the bottom, so no privacy.
