"This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. "This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home.
