Escape to this adorable and secluded cabin in eastern New Hampshire to enjoy a well-deserved break from your busy lifestyle. Inside this home, you'll find a perfect blend of rustic and modern amenities and decor to ensure maximum comfort for you and your guests. The modern, galley kitchen boasts a gas stove and stainless steel appliances while resulting meals can be enjoyed in the cozy breakfast nook off the living area. Gather in the great room and warm up by the wood fireplace while you watch a show or movie on the flatscreen TV, or play a few games on the included Nintendo Wii. And in warm weather, the furnished deck features a gas grill for perfect summertime cookouts!

This home is located on the western shore of Davis Pond, and less than a mile from the Madison Boulder Natural Area for scenic hikes. While staying here, you'll also be just six miles south of downtown Conway, where you can meet up with the iconic Kancamagus Highway for a spectacular foliage drive in autumn. If you're visiting in winter, you'll have your choice of nearby ski areas, including the family-friendly King Pine Ski Area, just eight miles south, Cranmore Mountain Resort, only 13 miles north, and Attitash, less than 20 miles away in Bartlett. You'll also be just a short drive from the Conway Scenic Railroad and a wealth of tax-free outlet shopping in Conway and North Conway.

A true cozy cabin!

We really loved our stay at the cozy cabin in the woods. We especially loved how tucked away we were, how quiet and beautiful the area was. Relaxing evenings fireside and morning coffee in the porch swing (wrapped in a blanket!). The cabin had all that we needed for our stay. Would recommend.

Decor was nice

Awful steps in the house and outside of the house Which were very inconvenient. Home is in a neighborhood with hoarder houses, run down houses when you pull in. The sun room is large and has great potential but is outdated and smells terrible. The main house was beautifully decorated but covered in cobwebs and dust. The bedrooms being up a steep loft made everyone want to sleep on the couch because it was a chore to go up and down. The from porch also had a terrible steep ladder to sit in the chairs on the upper deck. The curb appeal and sunroof give off a terrible first impression but once in the main home very pretty. The property managers were great and I was able to contact them for every need. We always rent homes in NH and this is one I would not return to unfortunately.

First, the house is beautiful- wood & rustic, beautifully decorated & modern kitchen. Access-If you are looking for something in the woods on a pond, this is it! However, your GPS will not take you to this house. Many of the roads are old & washed out, all of them in the vicinity are gravel. Stairs-tons of very steep steps- this house is not for bad knees, dogs or children! Many steep steps to even get from car to front door. The beds (K, Q & bunk beds) are all in the loft, which is up ladder-like stairs. Very scary in the middle of the night. Recreation-There IS swimming at the pond, which is spring fed, but high in iron (waters red, not clear). It’s walkable from the house & even has a tiny sand beach. The boulder is walkable & very cool. Cleanliness- dust flying around, massive cobwebs. Beds were sandy/hard. Appliances & dishes all clean. Bathroom was clean, towels clean, but I did have ants on my toothbrush a few mornings. House overall smelled musty & Smokey. Privacy/security- neighbors nice, friendly & engaging. However, the house did NOT lock. The keypad entry was broken and half way through the week when someone popped by & gave us keys - they did not work. I didn’t like staying overnight in an unlocked house in the woods. Customer Service- I contacted Expedia, Vbro & Vacasa in advance to try & move reservation & no one would help even though it was open. contacted Vacasa about other issues & they only argued with me. Will NEVER book Vacasa again.

Best cabin experience

The cabin had everything we needed and more. So many great things to say about this stay. Lots of small touches throughout that make this cabin special. You won't be disappointed.

Adorable Little Cabin

Very clean and SUPER cute. Has everything you need for a stress free getaway. My kids (age 10 and 5) loved the loft area. We did block it off at night so the kids wouldn’t fall when trying to use the downstairs bathroom with tired eyes (Total Mama Bear worry). My only wish is that there was a better view of the water across the street but that is likely out of the owners control.

Extremely steep stairs. And dirty laundry

I don’t think you want to post this. Stairs to access the cabin are extremely steep. “Stairs” from first floor to bedroom in the loft = a steep ladder. Bathroom is on first floor. Bedroom on 2nd floor. The entry stairs were unexpected and challenging for us. Ladder was downright dangerous for us. These things need to be in the description. I had planned to ask my daughter to join us. I’m so glad we didn’t. She has a toddler and a crawling baby. There’s no way she could have stayed with us and kept her kids safe. I dont know what we would have done. Cabin was clean (though much smaller and darker than the photos) but there were dirty towels in bathroom tub and beds had been slept in. Porch is quiet and delightful. VRBO returned our money for which we are grateful. But there seemed to be no communication between the person who answered the phone, the person I texted with and whoever monitors the emails. We hope our next VRBO experience is better.

Very cozy and nice

Loved the interior. The owners did a great job with the decorations. They or someone at some point left logins for Netflix and Amazon prime video on the smart tv so we didn’t have to put in our info to watch movies at the end of the day. The property is on the other side of the street from the water and the view is covered by trees mostly. So not the water front I was thinking, but that’s ok it was really great. I only wish we didn’t have to get back to work and could have stayed a couple more days.

This house is amazing!! The cabin is so cozy and the view is beautiful. I highly recommend!

The renting and check-in process was so smooth. We used the electronic key pad for the door. The main bedroom was spacious and the living area was perfect. 2 to 4 adults easily can have a great few days here. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It is close to Conway and we enjoyed Hobbs Tavern right down the road a bit. We will definitely be back in warmer weather to enjoy the lake!

Good location deceivingly dirty, poorly managed.

The location was good, very central for us. However the bedding stunk like body and was very hairy. The pots and pans and baking dishes were greasy and coated with baked in oil and grime. The corners and walks were full of dusk webs. It made us wonder if the house was truly cleaned and COVID free. Be sure to bring your own bedding or you will need to purchase them and disinfecting. Especially bedding as there is a washer/ dryer combo in the house, that the bedding, including the sheets do not fit in it. The pond looks so inviting but make sure to have the public access areas defined before you get there as it is not well posted anywhere in the house or around the development and the management company, no how many times you follow up never came for us anyway with providing these details. To the point to where what looks like public space, is not public and is not posted private property, if you set foot on it you will be harassed by the management property and the nearby neighbors. The neighbors will repeatedly report untrue complaints especially if you have a dog with you. We enjoyed our time in NH but not at the house, we spent a lot of time cleaning and purchasing bedding when we could have been enjoying our short stay. We did contact r The management company Vacasa many times while there and tried to get a refund on the cleaning fees, but could get no resolution through them to confirm open spaces and the refund for the cleaning fees was not given even though we supplied pictures and examples so they could go see for themselves. We were there only three days and spend one full day cleaning and purchasing bedding and disinfecting supplies so we could have a safe and hopefully COVID free retreat.

Hideaway but don't bring your dog

Lovely little house. Looks can be deceiving from the outside. The inside is nicely done, small but cute. It isn't for everybody. One will have to ascend a series of outside steps to get to the house. Same goes for the bedroom/sleep loft. You will have to ascend a ladder. For small children it's a hazard. We have a 18 month old so constant vigilance. There is a small lake across from the house which my 11 year old enjoyed. The largest single complaint is the neighbors. While the ones we spoke with were all pleasant others apparently complained about our dog being off leash on the common dirt road. We'd take him out and run him back and forth on the road for exercise. The owner misquoted that NH law says dogs must be leashed at all times. In fact that is not what the law states. Dogs can be off leash as long as the owner is with the pet. Any way, after receiving a text message and VM we kept our dog on leash. Maybe some one should speak to other residents there that about their dogs being off leash. The only other issue is cost. But this is a time of Covid so it appears that everybody is charging high prices. Is it worth it? Tough call. I'll let you be the judge of that. We won't return due to the neighbors.

Cute cabin close to everything

Cabin was cute and clean! Beds were comfy. Close to Saco river, lower falls, downtown Conway and many local attractions. Pet friendly. Would definitely stay again for our annual summer trip.

Very charming and quiet location

This house had a ton of charm and the agency provided everything you could need during your stay. The location was quiet and a good distance from all the convenience Conway has to offer. Families with young children should be aware that the ladder to the upstairs loft (and bedrooms) is quite steep. It is as described in the posting so we were not surprised. The pond is a very short walk away and is very quiet. There is otherwise limited outdoors space on the property itself but the porch swing is lovely and great for morning/afternoon coffee with a view. All the games, videos, and very cute decorations were all nice perks as well. A relaxing getaway overall in a very well managed rental.
