"The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. "

"We had an amazing week. This is the perfect lake cabin… swimming, boating, tubing, campfires at night… we even used a projector to do an outdoor movie night. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"The house was amazing, fully stocked with everything you need, even had fun board games. Laundry was a plus and beds were very comfortable. We highly recommend!"

"This cabin is brand new, under three weeks old. It is in a very quiet area. ATV trailhead is just down the street maybe a 1/4 mile. We didn't stay here to ride the trails but to see family. Cabin has a queen bed, fold out (very comfortable) couch. Huge bathroom with shower/tub. Lots of storage. Kitchen with a big stove. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to questions. "We really loved our stay at this woodsy Maine cabin in Chesterville. It had such a warm & cozy feel, even though it has such high ceilings. It's also in view of the small lake, with a huge wrap around porch & plenty of places to sit & look out. The indoor fire place/wood stove was wonderful & we used it daily. Wood was stocked. Lots of little touches were so fun, like the s'mores supplies & games, puzzles, binoculars, books, lil nooks to relax, etc. We would definitely return!! Just be careful...

"Its a great place to relax and slow down."

"For safety there was no fire extinguisher, and the 2 fire alarms in the house was not working. There was an electric heater but the wall above and below plug in had burn marks. The upstairs bedroom had a board on ceiling with black mold. One board was rotted on deck stairs. Also a hole rotted threw on the deck by the door to go in (they put a portable ramp sideway to cover hole which we kept tripping over) The picture showed a nice view of the water but cant see from house have to go down goat...
