My recent stay at the Castle Hotel was really good. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I ate in the restaurant and the steak sandwich was honestly amazing. A perfect hotel for anyone travelling with work.

The facility is pretty disjointed, long walk from parking with luggage-up and down multiple stairs. Room pretty dated, but clean. Staff was very friendly, multiple dining options and shops/dining wirhin walking distance.

Nice for an overnight stay

Very comfortable bed, quiet in spite of the hotel being busy. Had a good nights sleep. The decor is a bit tired at this stage, but the staff were friendly and the food was nice.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. Extremely courteous and helpful. The food was good as it has always been. The foyer and downstairs areas ( bar, restaurant, breakfast room and coffee shop were also very good but the rooms were quite tired and need some refurbishment along with the upstair corridors.

Stay in Macroom

Very friendly and helpful staff…we were going to be late arrivals 8.45 and rang hotel to let them know and were told food finishes at 8.15 and offered to keep us a chicken curry or sandwiches. Really nice breakfast. Stayed in the Castle many times over the years and it never disappoints
