"We had a great time staying here and the hostess, Una, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We made day trips all around the Wicklow area from this convenient spot and with a house full of kids this was a perfect spot to enjoy the evenings by the fireplace. Una ensured the bed setup was properly arranged for us prior to arriving, oriented us well to the amenities, made recommendations for local dining and activities, and helped us get a few things back that we accidentally left after checkout. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Ashford or the surrounding Wicklow area. "

"This is a nice smaller property. We spent one night after flying into Dublin. The room was comfortable and very clean. The house served a lovely breakfast in the morning and was very helpful regarding information around the area and places to visit."

If you like venturing out to the countryside, please, please stop here and find that magical peace in that first morning glow before going up for breakfast. It'll be the best start of your day. It's only been a week and I miss it already. The scenery is breathtaking. It was a little tricky driving, but also my first time on the left. Slow and easy. "We stayed at Tudor Lodge for one night as we wanted to explore Glendalough and do some hiking. The lodge is charming and we were welcomed when we arrived and shown to our room. Breakfast (at an additional charge) is fresh and plentiful and the lodge sit in a lovely quiet area - it was raining so we didn't explore the property much. Bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean and it was well situated to explore Glendalough 5 mins away by car. Add'l tip - Wicklow Heather Restaurant is 2 mins away and serves great lunch/dinner options."
