We really enjoyed the different types of gift shops and restaurants. Everyone was very friendly. We definitely had a great time in Mackinaw city as well as on Mackinac Island. I would definitely recommend as a vacation destination.

Went to Colonial Christmas at the fort, the lighted Christmas parade and tree lighting, and the hot cocoa crawl on this weekend stay. All worth my time and would do again.

Tourist destination. Lots of amenities within walking distance. Mackinac Island is the main attraction, but I would only recommend for families with older children. It's very busy in the summer.

"Room was exceptionally clean. Staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located next to the ferry parking lot, so it’s easy to hop on the shuttle to the ferry, or it’s a quick 0.5 mile walk. Mexican place next door has great tacos too!"
"The Lighthouse View Motel surpassed our expectations. My friends and I spent four nights there, and it was the best experience we've ever had. The place is very clean and safe, and the staff is very friendly. It feels like a family. We also learned a lot about our daily itinerary and other activities in the area.
