Baia Machico, a Home in Madeira

Baia Machico welcomes up to four guests in one of Machico's most pleasant corners and brings together everything for a relaxed holiday — the beach, the trails and the charm of one of the island's oldest towns.

The apartment is 105 m² and comprises two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 × 190 cm) and a private bathroom with a bathtub, a room with two single beds (90 × 190 cm), a second bathroom with a shower, and a living room with a kitchen and dining area. The living room has a sofa bed that can be used as an extra bed. The balcony has a wide view over the bay and the valley of Machico. There is also a private parking space on the property.

It is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, a refrigerator and freezer, a gas hob, an oven, a microwave and other kitchen utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and a TV with international channels, among other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The apartment is near Machico city centre just 550 m from the sea and from the sand beach.

Within walking distance there are shops, supermarkets, the main bus station and some attractions.

The airport is at 5 km and a few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and forest trails for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, beach, surfing, fishing and other activities.

The apartment has easy pedestrian access to the city centre, bus stops and has easy access to the main roads to discover the island.



⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

Although the area is not very busy, there may be traffic noise, which is reduced by closing the windows. There is also the possibility of noise from neighbouring properties and public festivals in the town centre.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
