"Although the little cabin was clean, it’s extremely outdated. The curtains were barely hanging on the windows, and every cabin looked the same. The floors were all sloped. The patching of the walls in the bathroom was just terrible. It could be really an ideal spot, but it looks like the minimum is being done to keep it up. "Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable...

"A very clean, quiet respite for travellers! The bed was comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen AND access to laundry! Located on a quiet street with shopping within a walkable distance. Clear, prompt communication. Definitely recommend this place!"

There was mold in the shower and the blinds in the windows were very dirty and had holes making them not very effective. The living room furniture consists of a small love seat and uncomfortable chair. For a place that sleeps 6, a couple of couches are needed for comfort. It is obvious that this was a very rough house that has had some renovations done but there is lots of evidence of...
