If you're visiting the Costa Brava, you must take a boat trip along the coast from one town to the next.

I went from Calella to Tossa de Mar. The entire coastline is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

Once in Tossa, you can hike to Castillo de Tossa de Mar, an old castle which is remarkably well preserved. There are several restaurants and shops up there as well.

"Pros: The house had everything we needed and more, with all the facilities as shown in the pictures and plenty of space inside and outside. Was very clean and tidy on arrival. Marcelo the host was great, easy communication before arriving, friendly, helpful during the stay with recommendations of places to eat, taxis etc and flexible with check out times. Cons: Nothing wrong in regards to the villa, but no local shop so need to plan trips ahead for food/drink. Didn’t cause us any problems...

Maremar was a great base to explore all that Girona and the Costa Brava has to offer. I would not hesiste to book again when returning to this area."

We called into the local supermarket (loads of them close by) we then found the villa easily and soon settled in.
