2StepSE @ Cedar Creek Lake is a comfortable 2 level lake house in the Payne Springs area close to all the lake area has to offer.
Enter the home through a large covered front porch, which is comfortably furnished, and features a stone wood burning outdoor fireplace.
The main level has a fully equipped kitchen, plus open concept living and dining areas. The living area boasts 3 large picture windows framing the gorgeous views of the lake. There is also a large screen smart TV above the second wood burning fireplace. WIFI and cable service and Blu-ray DVD provided. Step through sliding glass doors off the dining area onto a deck with outdoor dining and gas grill with magnificent views of the lake.
On the main level there is a BR with a King bed, and a large picture window framing the lake. A second BR on this level has two bunk beds. Bathroom on this level has double sinks, walk in shower and a Jacuzzi tub.
The lower level has a large living area with sunroom and sliding doors to large wooden deck overlooking the lake. Inside there is a kitchenette and laundry area. One of the two downstairs BRs has a Queen Sleep Number bed. The other bedroom is furnished with a King bed, and has direct access to the shared bathroom with walk-in shower. The lower level common area has a large screen TV and a queen sleeper sofa.

Making your way lake side you will find an elevated party deck, waterside patio with fire pit and a fishing pier where you can tie up your boat or jet ski. Public ramps and boat rentals are available close by.

Beautiful home, great location and friendly owner who communicates well. Everything went smoothly, no problems at all. House was plenty spacious and accommodating for my family and the yard and fishing pier/ boat dock was amazing. Thank you Gary for such a wonderful stay.

We had such a lovely stay here during our family reunion. The house has such a cozy vibe and allowed for all of our guests to have their own comfortable space with many great nooks throughout the property to hang out in. The host was very easy to work with and even checked in during the trip to see if we needed anything. We especially enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table!

This home had everything our family needed for a fun getaway weekend! The open kitchen & living area was so comfortable for our whole family and friends. The view was amazing from all angles and there were so many different areas of the house to hang out…whether it was playing games at the big dining table, lounging on the comfy couch, sipping coffee in the corner sitting area watching the sunrise or listening to the much needed rain storm on the front porch. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

This house is fully stocked with everything you could possible need for a lake weekend! The kids had a blast playing pool, cards, yard games etc., The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would defiantly rent here again.

Our family loved staying at this beautiful home. Everyone was reluctant to leave! The home is beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful details placed by the owner to insure you have a nice stay. We enjoyed the ping pong table, boating, the fir pit and dinning at the large dining room table! We were ready to move right in!

The house was absolutely fantastic. Plenty of space for my family of 7 and plenty to do. We paddleboarded and fished from the property as well as used the dock to tie down the boat. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen and grill made it so we could cook any meal we wanted. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this place!

What a great vacation house! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. And the location on the lake is beautiful! We had so much fun playing pool and ping pong for NYE! And the owner was always available if we needed anything or had any questions. Definitely five stars!

Communication was great at all times any questions we had were quickly addressed and answered. The process as a whole was extremely easy and smooth. Couldn't have had a better experience. Booked for a weekend trip and this property delivered. Clean, stocked, comfortable, great lakefront property. We grilled, fished, played poker, pool, watched football, sat out by the firepit, and enjoyed the views. Gary was great and even delivered a propane tank for us. This is one of the better rentals on Cedar Creek.

The five star reviews for this property are 100% accurate. The house and all the amenities were amazing. Everything you need for the kitchen was there. The kids loved the paddle boat and the kayaks. The house was very clean and had everything and more for a lakeside get away. The views were spectacular from the living room and all the decks. Gary was a great owner to work with. He communicated early and often. Even the neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

What a perfect weekend away! House was as advertised. Perfect location about 2 min off of highway but situated On a quiet and calm cove of Cedar Creek Reservoir. Gary the owner was great to communicate with and made check in easy and texted us while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. The rental was great as it has bedrooms and baths on both floors so each of the couples in our party had privacy. AC worked great. Kitchen was stocked and appliances are new. Everything was super clean. The outdoor areas were amazing. We grilled out, kayaked, swam off the dock, used the water floats. It was a great retreat from the city and I would recommend to anyone looking for a lake rental.

Our group of ten people (three under ten) had a family reunion at Gary's place, and it was amazing. Everyone in our group talked about what a wonderful time we had, and how much we enjoyed staying at this specific place. There are too many good points to list, but if you have a big group there is plenty of space to gather and eat together, and the bedrooms were all comfortable and suited a variety of families/sizes. The view of the lake never got old. We brought some groceries with us and had everything we needed to cook for 10, so never had to leave the property at all, if we wanted. We went canoeing, spent time on the lookout deck above the lake, played in the backyard, grilled out and made s'mores in the firepit, and at night after the kids went to bed played some of the games that were stocked in the place. Although there were some repairs to the seawall that were on-going during our stay, we were still able to access the water easily. Overall, it was a fabulous vacation rental and we had a great time.

Had a perfect Spring Break stay at this property - house is cozy, equipped with everything you need and very comfortable beds - always a true tell of the quality the owner puts into making the property a "must come back"! Gary was an awesome host - even helped us with a dead battery on our vehicle the day we checked out. The ping pong/pool table were a perfect way to help us re-connect with our teens and we had a blast playing together! We didn't have time to thoroughly enjoy the front porch, the upper deck, and other lounging areas the property provides - which are many, but we can attest every part we leveraged was great! Every single one of us had our own TV too - added plus for this family! Appliances were like new and very clean. Thanks Gary - definitely expect to be back and look forward to seeing you again!

This property was amazing and you will be impressed by the various outdoor living spaces. There were 7 of them!! From the front outdoor space which has a very rustic cabin feel to the main level outdoor patio with a grill to the swing on the dock. Each space has a different feel to it so you can pick and choose the one that suits your mood. The interior was well kept and you had everything you needed in the kitchen. The living room windows had some amazing views of the water. We did take the kayaks out for a spin on the water and my boys loved the styrofoam float. It was just what we needed to have a fun and relaxing weekend. Gary did an awesome communicating with us on arrival through departure. I'll definitely look for this place to rent in future!!
