"We arrived later than planned and therefore wanted to eat at the hotel’s restaurant. The kitchen was about to close although it was only 19:30. The very friendly manager offered us the option of another restaurant nearby or to have the kitchen fix us a plate. We opted for the latter and had a great steak. And a beer on the house each. Much appreciated. "

"Comfortable rooms close to Amersfoort and the hotel was quiet. Good blackout curtains for the late summer sun. I had a single room with my own bathroom and they provided fresh towels everyday. The wifi was fast as well. "

"Lovely hotel in quieter part of town but still close to amenities. Great view over road to Town Hall and only short, tree-lined walk to Slot. Staff really friendly and helpful, food in restaurant and for breakfast is good quality and great range of drinks available in the bar. Our only slight criticsm was the noise level in the room at night - we were on the top floor and there is a constant humming of equipment (don't think it was the heating) and the guttering on the roof was quite noisy when it rained. This obviously isn't the fault of the hotel and might not be possible to rectify, although the receptionist did say they would check the drainage on the roof when we mentioned it."

"Needed a place to stay before catching a flight out of Amsterdam, and this was the perfect place. Great comfortable location, beautiful surroundings and gardens and a delicious breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely hiking trails around the property and to the overlook tower. This is definitely a place I would stay again."
