"Our room overlooked the wedding marquee and on arrival and for the rest of the evening the noise was not good. Although the room was clean we were suprised for a 4* hotel that the room beverages were limited to basic coffee and breakfast tea and a biscoff biscuit. The evening menu was very limited and certainly not 4* our 1st choice meals weren't avaliable and again not to a 4* standard (more akin to travelodge if not worse) When the food arrived arrived(fish and chips) the fish was under cooked, still with some raw batter. The server was apologetic and although not expected, no compansion was offered. The sweet had the issue that some of the limited items on the menu again had run out. The staff althouh polite were very much overworked and the restaurant appered to be chronically undermanned. The breakfast was just about satisfactory but was once again not at a 4* standard. Overall not a good stay and we will consider either staying or recommed the hotel"
