"Perfect location - close to town center (very small town of trout Lake), yet located in private setting on acreage that is completely fenced and very quiet. Home very clean and spacious with plenty of room for the family. Beds quite comfy and the kitchen has everything you'll ever need. We had our big dog along and worked perfect for him as well. We stayed here for 5 nights and were on the go exploring Mount Adams area during the daytime and the patio was the perfect place to wind down and relax...

"Amazing! Gorgeous! Stunning! Thesaurus! My beautiful wife & I needed a long weekend away, to ourselves, to recharge, rekindle, remember, & restore. Mary & John's place up the hill from Lyle, WA, replete with phenomenal views of Mt Hood, highland cattle, birds, deer, & chickens (yes, I know chickens are birds) was exactly what the doctor ordered (I'm a doctor so I should know, right?). "Really really nice place, just a couple things to improve to get to 10/10 in my book. Curtains! Any would be a good start. The blinding sun made for early mornings. One of the beds has a crazy squeaky box frame that drove us nuts. Otherwise great 9/10."
