"What can we say - we loved it here. If you love stunning scenery and absolute privacy in a delightful rural location with friendly locals yet only 15 minutes drive from Kalkan you will too. Mehmet, the owner, who has lived in the UK for years, happened to be there so all our communications were with him. He was lovely, extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. Prior to arriving the communications were good and he was always available if we needed anything but wasn’t at all obtrusive. The house itself is lovely - really well stocked kitchen (even an air fryer) and very clean (if we have one criticism it is the fact that there was no ‘mood lighting’ and the lights were quite bright - we mentioned this and Mehmet gave us a lamp which helped) but the real wow factor is the outdoor area which is a delight. If you need it there is always somewhere shady (we went in late April and it was full sun and mid 20s) and there are loads of chairs and loungers. It was warm enough to swim in the pool which was a bonus. (Mehmet also showed us his other smaller property next door which had a real wow factor and which we would also have been delighted to stay in). Be aware that being in a village there are sounds of chickens and dogs - we personally love this. Kalkan itself is lovely as is Kaş - the coastal drive there is off the scale. Lovely beach on the way (Kaputaş). A really relaxing, memorable and recommendable holiday."

"Great placa to stay, good food and very friendly staff. Only downside is that Turkish government now asks for entrance fee for the beach! 15 EUR for an adult and two kids is insane. Will not come again, unfortunately. "

"We stayed in a very specious, nicely upgraded room which comes with a balcony. It is very close to Patara Ancient City ruins and the beach. Certainly needs to be seen. Very serene environment with a beautiful garden where you have very generous and delicious breakfast. I will certainly stay there next time. "

"A lovely little family run hotel with amazing, friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would recommend going there. Quiet little village with access to amazing roman ruins."

"It is 3km from Patara Junction, so walkable. There is no TV in the room but we had a balcony and AC. The hotel is situated up several steps, the sprinkler was on one night so we got wet coming back up the stairs. It's basic but clean and ideal if wanting to visit Patara beach which again is 1.6 miles away. There is a nice pool and sunbed area but we did not have chance to use it as we stayed just one night. The owners allowed us to have a complimentary room after going to the beach following check-out to shower prior to our bus journey home."

"Fantastic village with really good restaurants. The food is amazing and their eating areas in the gardens are so confortable even with high temperatures. So much to see around, especially if you like historical sites."
