nicely private location, everything we needed for our stay, and great landscape, especially the wild pebble beach in walking distance

The lady at the front desk was extremely nice she gave us great ideas of what to do on our trip she was very sweet and the food at the restaurant was excellent

Above all else was the hospitality of the staff: although they have an 11:00PM cut off time for checking in, when I found out that I would not arrive until 1:00AM because my flight was cancelled and I was put on a flight 5 hours later, I e-mailed them and they immediately agreed to take me in. When I arrived the door was open, the key was hanging on a hook at the desk and all was right in my world. That is really service in my book. PS: breakfast was wonderful.

Lovely hosts, large, clean room with very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast. Parking behind the hotel was easy to find and get to. What a great stay!

Do not miss the smallest street in the world, certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. Is part of the restaurant “No. 1” By the Way the restaurant has well elaborated recipes!!! Recommended !!!

Perfect hosts!

Very friendly hostess! The room was large and inviting. She showed us how to operate the shower and use of the coffee maker with instructions on the wall. Very thoughtful set up.

Wayne was very accommodating. He greeted us on entering the driveway and offered us kickstand pucks to keep us from sinking in the gravel. He was very friendly and suggested places to go. Thank you.

The view was amazing! We appreciated the good-sized fridge.

Second time staying here in the last 7 months and I think this place is top notch. From the extremely helpful and friendly staff, to the incredible breakfasts included with our room and the excellent dinners we purchased in the evenings, to the superb communication by hotel staff, and the clean and comfortable rooms…I will certainly be back in the future. I’d love to see whoever is running this business teach these principles of professionalism and attention to detail to larger chains because...

Beautiful place run by helpful, friendly people. For example, they don't mind if you call them with a question, no matter how obvious the answer is. They have a lovely restaurant there with fun and friendly staff. Also, be sure to tour the area - the Northern Highlands are stunningly beautiful. We had a great time.

Good old-style hotel, very pleasant. Slept well, the family room was decent and quiet. Breakfast good, just a bit of bad luck as two tour groups flooded the room same time as us. Location very central, and we had no issue to park right in front.

Great property next to river and walking path. Live music in pub was a real treat.

The employees were great. The area was quiet. Room was clean. It did get a bit warm at night as only 1 window opened and only at the top. Overall was a good stay!

It was a really pleasant experience. The owners are so kind and friendly also. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.
