"This hotel was wonderful to experience after 20 hours of flying, The pool area situated on the shores of Lake Victoria was beautiful. The food and beverage service outside was prompt and amazingly delicious. The breakfast buffet was over the top amazing. Fresh and so many choices. I always enjoy my Marriott stays but this hotel went over and above to provide personal happy service. "

"Oh, we loved it, we didn't expect to find the room layout and cleanliness similar to what we have here in USA. The room service, reception, security team and all were wonderful. We also had a chance to speak to the manager, good guy, quality focused. We did let him know about the water that splashes outside the bath tub during a shower, he said they will handle... In all, 5 stars. "

"I gave the hotel a higher rating because it totally met our needs and expectations. I don’t want to stay in a place with next to no amenities where I feel unsafe, but I also don’t want to pay a crazy amount to sleep for a night or two, no matter how nice it is! The Humura was our speed. Spacious room, a wall of windows onto green space, comfortable bed and linens, reasonably working AC, QUIET, (except that the walls are thin! We used a background noise app because we could hear out neighbours.). Ensuite bath ✔️ - although hot water was off and on. Great breakfast and nice pool . The.pool is not ‘blue’ bc it’s made of local stone slabs, not a blue liner. It was refreshing and clean. The decor/art is great - a lovely African vibe. This is our new retreat spot in Kampala. We’ll be back."
