"This is a stunning properly, off the beaten track but near enough to drive to Autun to see the sights and dine out. The decor is stylish and contemporary, the bed was huge, as was the room. Lounge very relaxing. Everything spotless. Great outside facilities for relaxing, and lovely setting. The breakfast was fabulous. Attentive host. "

"Maison Sainte Barbe is a little haven of peace and loveliness, in an ancient building that has been sympathetically cared for. It was our final stop on a 2500 mile roadtrip before heading to Ouisteham, and I'd have been glad to stay longer. "We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. "We enjoyed our stay in Panneçot very much and were delighted to communicate with Dominique, who was calm, practical and very helpful, thank you Dominique. The cottage is in an ideal location. Everyone slept soundly and we enjoyed tractors going past the doorstep and giving a wave in the morning. A small note - I have left enough toilet paper for the next guests. Not possible to buy in the little hamlet and with families, maybe good to err on side of generous..."
