"Interesting historical property with a lovely hostess "

"Comfortable, convenient for the town centre with free parking nearby. The lady who runs the property is very kind and helpful."

"Clean, air conditioned room, comfortable bed, good shower. Only one bedside table, no drawers or hanging space. The bar and restaurant had been very nicely refurbished. We sat outside for evening meal, garden bit overgrown and meal felt rushed but food was good. Breakfast was basic, just croissant, coffee, juice and bread. Good location for exploring the area."

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"We spent 3 nights in Loire Valley in Manoir Des Basses Rivieres, in suite Boisdenier. Our hosts welcomed us very warmly and listened yo all possible requests if there was any. The suite was top notch, very clean, nice and welcoming. The area itself was very nice with the garden and exclusive setup as there are only 3 rooms. Breakfast was all that was needed, we could've ordered specialties if needed. Fridge and available wine, beers etc if needed. All in all great experience and will not...

"We had a wonderful stay at La Grande Carrée. The house was beautiful, Stéphane and Sophie were fantastic hosts (friendly and helpful) and the food was delightful (Sophie is an amazing chef). We will definitely stay at La Grande Carrée when we next visit Tours. "

"Absolutely loved our quick stay. Pascal was a perfect host and I fell in love with his dog “Tattou”. We had Pascal cook us our evening meal and it was the best piece of salmon I’ve ever eaten. Our room, Pascalon Pavilion was spacious and clean. This place is a treasure, I wish I had planned a longer stay. "

"We stopped for one night on our way back to the UK. Langeais is a very pretty small town on the Loire with a beautiful Chateau in the centre. La Fleur de Lys is a small hotel right in the centre. Our room was good sized, well equipped and very clean. It also had the facility to make hot drinks in the room - which is not always the case in France. "We spent a very pleasant evening at Chateau de Pintray. The owner, Anne, is delightful and kindly booked dinner for us in an excellent restaurant nearby. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was substantial and delicious. Highly recommended, and if we visit this part of France again we would certainly stay here again."

"James et Salia nous on accueilli comme il se doit. Notre chambre pour 4 était bien assez grande et très bien présenté ( serviette de toilette sur le lit, divers coussins pour la déco, les enfants avait une parure de lit en accord avec leurs goûts sans le savoir et une peluche les attendait en décoration) ainsi que la salle de bain mise a disposition. Nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous pendant notre semaine de vacances. Alors encore un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil incroyablement...
