Our room was very nice. The overall interior and landscape design of Al Wadi is very charming. Although this property is located in a rural area, it is quite urban in its design, featuring a modern, antique, and chic aesthetic in this boutique hotel. All I can say is that we were pleasantly surprised by Al Wadi.

The staff and owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and did a lot to make us feel comfortable (including offering us a room when we had already checked out and were waiting for our flight). However, unfortunately ours was the only room on the group floor which was right next to reception and the dining table where other guest ate dinner and breakfast. As a result, we found the room very noisy and uncomfortably had to ask other guests to be quiet at nighttime when we were trying to sleep. Also, the bathroom window wouldn’t shut so we had lots of mosquitoes in our room and I got bitten a lot whilst sleeping. The negatives are a shame because overall the hotel is really nice, the staff were great and it’s really close of the valley of the kings, we just got the short straw with the room we were given.
