Our first search for a nice swimming spot in Montenegro sure didn't leave us disappointed! At first all we could find was crowded beaches and cliffs full of sea urchins and we felt like giving up, but we decided to head further on a road that just kept getting smaller and smaller until we finally found this amazing place. View from the fortress in Mamula island. From Herceg Novi, we took one of the small boats leaving the harbour for an excursion to Mamula island, blue cave, and some of the beaches in Lustica peninsula (usually it is Zanjice). Boat tours (or kayak tours) can be booked at the stands in the harbour the evening before, or directly at the boat in the morning (be at the harbour before 9 a.m. or before 10 a.m.). #beach
