"Staff were very personable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room and bathroom were superior. We were on bicycles and the parking garage was very tidy and close. No concerns about the bike safety. Loved the gate entrance and “villa” feel."

The breakfast buffet was simple and basic—not extraordinary, but it offered enough variety to satisfy your morning needs and get your day started. While it may not be a standout feature of the hotel, it was adequate and convenient. The hotel served its purpose well, providing a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated the hospitality and had a pleasant visit overall. Thank you to the SHG Hotel team for their service during our stay."

"Ideally located in the heart of Vicenza and only a 10-15 minute walk from Vicenza train station. 15 mins if carrying a backpack. Well I totally botched up our booking and didn’t realise until just before we were due to arrive. I explained our dilemma on arrival and the concierge was very understanding and helpful. Room was fantastic, great amenities, exceptionally clean and a quiet and efficient air conditioner. Lovely continental breakfast. Definitely recommend Palazzo Otello. Safe area and hotel environment if travelling as a solo female."

"In its day, this villa/hotel would probably have been five star accommodation. However, due to its age the walls are very thin. Ours was ann adjoining room, despite the back door was locked, the sound travelled like the wall was made of paper so all human noises were heard! Not pleasant. The buffet breakfast was very good."
