"The cabin is beautiful and exactly as described. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There are a few minor repairs that could be done. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was father then expected to the park. Just be aware that, while the distance to the thornton gap entrance is close to the cabin, the hikes there are more strenuous than the hikes we wanted to do so we had to drive further. It took over an hour to get to the visitor center, Next, while I understand that the cabin is in the forest, I do not remember seeing in the reviews that there is a gravel road that leads up to the cabin, about 0.6 miles or so which was just a surprise. Just a heads up for potential future guests, the host has thorough and detailed house guidelines, such as remember to bring your own towels for the hot tub . We did not know this ahead of time so we bought some towels there. I would stay there again with expectations that there will be a lot of driving time."
