On the plus side it was clean. On the negative side, the mattress was way too hard. No bounce at all so could not sleep and ac was too noisy so turned it off. Plus there was only a top sheet, no real blanket. I loved the town and the beach. And they had great laundry machines.

Kindness still exists

My car broke down and I had to be towed there. The next morning the owner/manager helped me, took me to the auto parts store and made sure I got back on the road. The kindness and compassion he showed me will live with me forever. I am forever grateful. He went above and beyond anything he had to do.

Found cigarette butts on the floor by the check in and in our room. Smelled like cigarettes really bad. If you want food delivered to you here good luck trying to find somewhere to do so. In a location that’s too far for most places but you can drive it’s not too far really. The bed was super nice and firm though.

Took an hour and a half just to be able to check in. Non smoking room but smelled like smoke. Freezer had mold in it. Third floor reeked of cat pee.

We reluctantly booked this hotel with some optimism that people just leave bad reviews. We called 6 hours in advance to let them know we wouldn’t arrive until 1am and just wanted to make sure we would have someone to check us in. No problem when we arrive, he’s asleep at the desk, no problem. We eventually complete the front desk mission, then we walk up to our room on the second floor, swipe the card and nothing happens. We try this for maybe 5 minutes and then walk back to the front desk, he’s gone. Call the number. The phone at the counter rings… so I walk back up to the room and try the card many more times, recording everything. Then we hear a person coughing in the room we are supposed to be in. Wow! There were like 5 cars in the lot and we couldn’t get the right room. So we had to leave and find another hotel. Stay away

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. The entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, which is crazy for a SMOKE FREE BUILDING. There is no staff, you push 0 when you walk in to get someone to the desk and wait around until they decide to show. We had a blood stain on our pillow (not pictured!, the black stains are something else I found when I stripped the bed before we left), the room was dirty, the tiling wasn’t sealed down on the window seal, no locks or screens on 2nd story windows (PARENTS BEWARE!!!), plug ins by the bed didn’t work, the blinding parking lot lights make sleeping impossible with the shades being too small for the window. For nearly $80 a night, you can definitely do better. Will never stay again. Most uncomfortable beds I believe we’ve ever slept on. Good luck getting housekeeping to clean your room. We hung the service requested sign, left for 4 hours and room was exactly as we left it. You’re better off sleeping in your car. If we could’ve gotten our money back we would have left the day we checked in.
