"I’ve stayed here a couple of times now - usually with my wee budgie. I stay in hotels weekly with work but nowhere comes close to Knoll. It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "

"all staff superb, 100% staff satisfaction , hotel more a 3 star skimp and saving lets it down , the pool is so small it would be called a plunge pool in Europe, towels were the same size as our hand towels we have at home , room refurbished ,then an old bed let it down, food was excellent and if you just need a place to crash out then it will do"

"Lovely hotel. Looks to have been recently updated to good effect with lovely staff. Booked on a bit of a punt as we needed 2x rooms and was priced so well it was cheaper than a family room elsewhere for this. Delighted with outcome. Good car parking too."
