"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. If you plan to cook, bring a few things (hot mitts, aluminum foil, etc). Other reviews are right about the extremely low water pressure. That...

"Great location, lakefront with private dock. Carpet in bedroom should be removed. Plenty of stains. Better lighting inside would be helpful. Bedrooms very dark with lamps provided. "

Check in was easy, communication was great with the property managers, and the hot tub was nice! The house was located close to shops, restaurants, and the lake. "This was such a perfect place to stay. The location is perfect, and the amount of sitting space was also perfect. There were 10 of us and we could all just plop down whenever we wanted. It was clean and true to the pictures. The only thing missing was in the 3D tour, there is a room with a single set of bunk beds with a single queen size bed. This room is next to the room with the double bunk beds but when you go in there, the single set of bunk beds is missing."
