"Lovely hotel . Beautifully put together and maintained. Only negative for us was that our bathroom was ridiculously small for 2 adults and 2 x 14year olds. The whole hotel was used by our family who were attending a wedding elsewhere and we seemed to have the only bathroom that was disproportionate to the size of the bedroom. "

"The apartment was large and truly lovely. We enjoyed the balconies and the breezes so much. The hosts were so easy to work with and helped us with train timetable when our travel schedule changed. It was perfect for our family of 4 and I would definitely stay there again!!"

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better: -Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe it needed to be decalcified.) - Place a mirror and trash bin in each bedroom"

"We have eaten at their restaurant many times in the past and thought how nice it would be to stay the night. The hotel is a typical Italian 3 star. The room was spotlessly clean, excellent shower, electric fan, kettle and mini bar. There were cans of mineral water in the mini bar but no price list. They cost €2 each! Something I found annoying was it cost €10 to park in the hotel car park! Some on line listings say that parking is free. Most annoying is that the restaurant menu is so limited. Only about 3 choices for each course. We were very disappointed as were others staying at the hotel as we saw many of them in the restaurant we chose to eat at. This is, apparently, something new! Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy. The only negative is the fruit juice. "
