"An amazing stay which I highly recommend! Lugo is a wonderful and beautiful city to visit and this hotel is the place to stay! The whole staff is so kind, helpful and friendly. It’s a magnificent historical building with all the comfort of modern hotel! In the heart of all the highlights of the city! "
"This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve done the Camino on a few occasions. Where to start?
The building is beautiful with exposed old stone it just looks gorgeous.
The beds are very comfortable. The pods give you privacy and the bag locker is a good idea. The curtain gives you privacy and also blocks out the light, which is great because I’m light sensitive
The check in was so easy, they just give you a card you can let you in with at any time. And when it gave me...
"Nice quiet place. The walls of Lugo are a 20 minute uphill hike, but doable. The river walking trails are great. The clientele of this hotel are largely elderly. The Roman baths in the basement are interesting if you like that sort of thing. "
"Limited availabikity of hotel rooms when we travelled. A little way out from.old town, 30 mins walk, more for budget travel than relaxtion. That said, clean & secure accommodation, street parking. "

There’s also no one around to ask questions, which can be tricky. There’s a kitchen to make your own breakfast. The coffee pod dispenser was stuck but of course there’s no one to help. Beautiful, comfortable...

"I think this was a top-of-the-range hotel in the 1990's - it's still a very nice hotel, but feels a bit dated. Location is great, close to the city center, staff is friendly, breakfast was very nice."
