"Friendly Quiet Lots to do Just an overall good place to stay "

"It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!"

"Great staff, so friendly, good with allergies, impressive menu. Relaxed bar area, separate dinning room. Room was lovely, quirky with slanted door and uneven floors. Breakfast had lots of choice. Easy check out. Would definitely recommend and stay longer next time."

"It is in an excellent location for sightseeing in Salisbury. The room was large bright and comfortable although we could have used a place to set our luggage. It is an historic building which makes it quirky and a little rambling to navigate and the lack of an elevator makes handling luggage a challenge. That staff is upbeat and very helpful. The restaurant next door is terrific."
