Being senior citizens, it was not very pleasant for us, at the end of the day, to have to climb this steep hill for about 10 minutes to reach the property. "Excellent location for the beach (stony beach below the apartment) , old town, full sea front, shops (5 mins to carrefour with fresh bread and fruit/veg) and train station. 10 minute walk through the gardens to train station and a 10-15 minute walk up to the port/beach. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby too. Good communication from the owner and Giovanna who checked us in. We were two 40 year olds and my in laws (80yrs and 86yrs). "Great location by the Promenade but a bit away from the very touristy old town areas, though still within walking distance. Place was clean, bedrooms were spacious. The bathroom is a bit small, but that's expected in Europe. Having the washing machine was very convenient, although they don't provide detergent. The only negative aspect is not having a place to leave luggage on the last day, so if you don't have a car, but still want to walk around before leaving, find luggage nanny service."

"My daughter and I stayed 3 nights.... The hotel is a great place to stay! The room was very quiet and provided lots of space to spread out and enjoy anytime spent in the room! A mini kitchen was perfect for a few quick meals (with a small grocery just 1 block away!). Would be nice if the hotel had a towel in the kitchen for drying the dishes though. The hotel was just 3 blocks for the seaside which was a quick walk. Staff were great. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"Fantastic stay and super friendly reception staff always willing to help. The hotel is so close to all the shops and also the old town. 7 min walk and easy from Jean medicine tram. No need for a taxi. "
