"The waffles at breakfast were a blackish-brown color and watery. The eggs were decent and the fruit was fresh. The young lady checking us in needs training in talking to elderly people with trouble hearing. She did not bother standing up to speak face to face so my mother could better understand what she was being asked. The woman attending the lobby counter during breakfast was very loudly scolding someone on the phone (NOT exaggerating)! The elevator floor was dirty and sticky and the table just outside of the elevator on the floor we stayed on was thick with dust. Our bathroom was clean as well as the room we stayed in. "

"After checking into the room I was washing up and noticed it was dirty behind the faucet, I looked closer and saw an old dried up contact lens. I went and told the front desk and they called house keeping. I decided I’d go for a walk. I was gone for almost 2 hours and when I got back the room still hadn’t been cleaned. I went to the front desk again and complained. One of the ladies there went up and personally cleaned it. I then went to the bar and ordered a rare ribeye and it came out well done, they sent it back and when I got it again it was closer to raw than rare. Kitchen manager came out and talked with me and he made it right. I normally don’t complain but for this price of room and steak my expectations were higher than what I received. Front desk ladies, bartenders and managers of the bar/kitchen were all super friendly and polite. If ever in Lubbock again I will give it another shot."

"Right next to a Walmart and several restaurants, no issues with room, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. "

"I wasn’t able to fully connect to the wi-fi. In the room it never connected. It would connect when I was by the door, close to the hallway but it would always drop once I was completely in the room. There was only one wash cloth and it had a red stain on it. The clerk was nice and gave me a clean one."

"Hotel was close to where we needed, check in was quick and easy, breakfast had decent options, plenty of parking. The fitness room definitely needs to be updated with more equipment."
