"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. Enjoyed using the swimming pool! Very well maintained gardens. Only negatives were the shower not working very well and no WiFi. Otherwise couldn’t fault it!"

Cold Ashton is a sleepy village with no facilities within walking distance. Marshfield is the closest town which has a couple of pubs and a general store. The owner of Rose Cottage, Monika, is extremely helpful and friendly. Rose Cottage is perfect for couples or families with young children.
