"Very local to the Airport, about 6 minute drive. Buses to the CBD and back literally stop outside. Very handy for the Weta workshop.Zelda was very communicative, and is slowly renovating the property, however don’t let that put you off.Our biggest complaint was the beds were a bit soft for our taste. "

"We stayed for a few nights here and it was wonderful! It had the most amenities of any place we stayed and a perfect view. Got to watch dolphins chase fish into the harbor, we saw the south island one day, and beautiful sunsets over the mountains."

"Beautiful home surrounded by nature. Great communication with host. Although it seems isolated, there are neighbors within close proximity therefore must keep music to a minimal. Otherwise great for a quiet getaway."

"We booked online , and wanted to stay close to the city, Wow is place has everything, I love the Back covered area, Its was a great place to chat and have a wind down, after walking the hills , The rooms are large, and lots off hanging space, the beds where great , My wife and I and my Son enjoyed our stay and we will be back , I have stayed at a lot of places and i rate this one 10 out off 10 . "

"This property is right across the street from University housing, which was extremely convenient. Each of us had a level to ourselves and the washer and dryer were such a nice amenity!"

"The oven had an oven tray and grill covered in fat from a previous user. Great hot water and pressure. There wasn’t enough hanging facilities for clothing. Almost all of the wardrobes and the pantry are locked closed. Yes the fridge door opening is annoying. The heat pump was excellent. Tv remote needs new batteries. "

"Perfect getaway for the family. Nice and close to the beach and a short ride away from shops etc. the house was nice and clean with great extra touches for guests. Will definitely be going back. "
