"Our extended family stayed for a week over Labor Day weekend. I loved the main floor but didn't go up or downstairs due to health issues. I had the master bedroom for which the only issue was adjusting the temperature of the water in the shower. The rental agent was helpful in resolving that.My adult children reported to me that a couple bedrooms were stuffy and the ceiling fans were not much help. Apparently, there was only one floor vent in each room and it was under the bed. Also, the TV in one room did not work. I reported this to the rental agent who said she would see that it was either fixed or replaced but that didn't happen before we left.Those issues were far outweighed by the positives for this home. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. We have never had a rental with two refrigerators, two microwaves, two dishwashers, and two sinks! We could not get hot water in one of the sinks, and the filtered water didn't seem to work, but these were minor issues and we did not report them. I really loved the pool and its surrounding area, and spent the majority of my time there. Family was often there every day also.The fire pit was large, comfortable, and set up safely. Bonfires were enjoyable, as were various outdoor areas to congregate, enjoy the beautiful views, and share meals.All in all, it was an enjoyable week in a beautiful home. I'd recommend it to large families."

"Beautiful view of Saint Mary’s River and a lovely home. The entire place was very inviting, felt like I was at Home back on the Chesapeake Bay. Very quiet and peaceful . Lots of trails to walk around. Enjoy fishing off of the dock. We would’ve loved to stay longer than five days, but we really enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to go back! Host was amazing."

"This is the 2nd year I’ve rented this home on the Chesapeake, and I’ll definitely be back! Missy has thought of every comfort and convenience! The home is clean, spotless, bright and welcoming! The kitchen has all you’d ever need! The view is breathtaking; I was up every morning before sunrise to welcome the gorgeous day, and get out on the beach to see what the latest high tide brought in! The screened porch is my favorite viewing place, and this year Missy has added a deck in front of the screened porch which is wonderful! I really can’t recommend this perfect cottage too much!!!"

"The house was beautiful.It is an aging home a little wear and tear but nothing that interfered with our trip. It is in a remote area, we did not have any WiFi for the first 2 days but it did pop on on the first clear sunny day."

"We absolutely loved our stay. They house was beautiful, the amenities were excellent, and we loved the crabs!! We went for a family weekend (mix of 18 kids and adults) and it was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. The pergola in the back was an especially big hit! We highly recommend and would stay again."
