"Check in was a bit slow despite only 5 people/groups in front of me, but was efficient when I got to the desk, assistant gave all the information needed for my stay. Mezzanine level eatery, very well laid out with attentive staff, but menu had a wee bit too much curry options or spicy options, it would have been nice to have had more staple choices on the menu. Very large portions from starters to mains, but tasty. Room very comfortable with easy to operate air conditioning. A few areas in the bathroom need maintenance to look at. Comfy and cosy bed, no issues with sleep quality or noise from outside of the room. Breakfast - great choice, well laid out and very attentive team looking after you. Check out, quick and easy"

"Hotel needs a refresh - a bit tired. Large hotel with long walks to rooms. Too 'perfumey' for my liking as I am scent sensitive (asthmatic). However, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was fantastic."

"Excellent location next to the river, within walking distance to everything. The chilled drinking water in the lobby was a nice touch. The room was small but comfortable, but it had a peculiar smell, maybe just from the age of the building? Despite being on the ground floor, there were stairs up and down and an awkward corridor to reach it. The restaurant was overpriced for what it offered, but it was our first night and we were too tired and jetlagged to go out in search of food."

"Staff were welcoming and answered all my questions with ease. Parking and charging on site was simple, the gym was well equipped and the restaurant had a great choice, good staff and high quality. I had nothing to complain about for a one night business trip it was ideal."

"The shower was rotten. Changed from + 40 to 25 degrees centigrade in a matter of seconds. No use washing your hair there. Room was hilarious though; gold, fake leather and crystal. It’s like a very fancy brothel."
