"It was a really nice room. The bed was NOT comfortable for such a nice room. It was very clean. The grounds were clean. The pool was freezing for an indoor heated pool. When we mentioned it he said he could turn up the temp but would take hours. Overall good room."

"So glad that we found the Clark Currier Inn! It's in a beautiful 1803 home, near the main street (High Street) but just off it so the room was quiet. The breakfast was varied, generous, and tasty. Newburyport is a historic New England town with many beautiful buildings, and the Inn is perfectly located for walks. Twenty or more restaurants within three blocks. Hope we can return soon!"

"Charming, perfect, upscale boutique hotel perfectly located in Newburyport. We only have good things to say about the Garrison: the room was spacious, perfectly clean and well-maintained, with luxe toiletries, lovely decor, parking, pet-friendly and a breakfast cooked to order by a pleasant gent! It looks like it would be an excellent location for small weddings or other celebrations. (Photo of breakfast room uploaded — other spaces for tea/cocktails/receptions were lovely, too.) We left the car in the included parking area and walked everywhere because of the great location."

"My stay at Hygge House was beyond exceptional. The Hygge Team was helpful and prompt when I had questions or needs...they were always so very pleasant. The room was perfect for a single person and complete for all of my needs.The Hygge house is located behind the main street in Newburyport town, so access to all and everything was a hop and a skip to food, great shopping, sight seeing, etc.Surprisingly, the town is quiet and considering superior access to everything...I slept like a lamb in the cozy bed."

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the house worked well for what our family needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and we were especially grateful for the air conditioning during the warm weather. The fresh flowers on the table when we arrived were also a really thoughtful touch!The house is older and has quite a bit of character, including noticeably sloping and uneven floors. That wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something future guests may want to know.The bathrooms and bedding were clean, but the house overall could use a good deep cleaning. Some of the walls and surfaces looked pretty grimy and could use extra attention.The kitchen worked for simple breakfasts and coffee but was minimally stocked, with only a few drinking glasses and limited dishes. Cooking for a larger group would be difficult.The location was one of the highlights! We loved walking across the street to the chocolatier for fresh-baked cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning and delicious drinks. The house is also within walking distance of other wonderful shops in Amesbury.Overall, it was a comfortable home base for exploring the area. Great location!"

"Fantastic location! Spacious and well laid out space. The furniture was comfortable, appropriate and functional. There is room for 2 vehicles (tandem) in the driveway. Totally walkable to restaurants, shops, coffee and the delightful Clipper Trail for walking or biking. The listing failed to provide the bedroom set up. It was absolutely lovely for our group but it is important to note that this is a 3 story property. 3 bedrooms and full bath on floor 2 and 1 bedroom and full bath on floor 3. Outdoor space is a lovely oasis and kitchen was exceptional and well stocked. Btw- it has a keurig that you’d need pods for. (Plenty of shops within walking distance) We absolutely look forward to staying here again!"

"A small group of friends and I stayed here for a short weekend trip and loved our stay here. The house was very clean and was perfect for what we had been looking for. Collin was very welcoming when we had arrived and made sure we settled in comfortably. We would definitely book here again :)"
