The house itself is fab and the accommodation on offer was great. Location is excellent being near Bolam Lake with some good walks. We had a few teething problems in terms of heating and some supplies but all in all had a good stay"

"Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened."

"Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s"

"Lovely cozy home, nestled in some beautiful countryside. The home had everything you needed. Ideal location for a quiet getaway or for exploring the north. "

"The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on...

"It's close to the centre of Hexham, and quite spacious. Parking on the street is for residents only, but we managed to park nearby for free in the Wentworth car park (white spaces).Cleanliness wasn't great and there were several issues with the accommodation which made me think there aren't regular inspections (e.g. lack of cutlery, broken door handle, blocked drain, wrong sized sheets). Managing agents were responsive and said they'd attend to these issues, but I found they didn't have the...
