"This is a beautiful hotel just outside Halifax. The price is a great deal considering all of the amenities and the incredible service provided by the staff. An Uber from the train station will cost you no more than 15 pounds. If you want to go into Halifax during the day, you can take the city bus for less than 3 pounds. It stops about a five minute walk from the hotel and takes you right into the center of town. It was better value to stay here and take an Uber to and from the train station and the city bus into Halifax than it was to stay in hotels in the city center. The customer service sets this hotel apart. I had to check in late after my train was delayed but they have a 24 hour front desk and friendly people to help at any hour. Definitely consider taking the bus into the city if you've taken the train to get there. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again."

"I loved the spacious lobby, dining room, wide staircases and lovely stained glass windows. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the meals were good and varied. My room was clean and well serviced and hospitality drinks and cookies replenished daily. I hope I’m able to return one day."
