"Really lovely, clean villa in a stunning location however you need a car to drive into Podgora where parking is very difficult, especially in August, as it's very busy. We had a couple of issues with coffee machine not working, no gas for the BBQ and no parasols but this was dealt with quickly by Iva although one small parasol by the pool was not enough (5 of us huddled under it at one point). There was a lack of cups and glasses especially when 7 people are drinking water all day (possibly only...

"Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus war perfekt wir waren mit 7 Jugendlichen da und es war genau für uns gemacht die Familie der das Haus gehört ist so eine gastfreundliche Familie sie haben uns regelmäßig Gemüse aus dem Garten vorbei gebracht wenn wir gegrillt haben und haben uns ein Abend sogar eingeladen zum Pizza essen bei denen also im ganzen wirklich sehr sehr gut dort gewesen!!!"

"A really nice property with lots of space for 4 adults and 4 children. It was clean and well presented on arrival and rooms are spacious including the downstairs living area which comfortably gave us space. It was easy to walk to the beach which we used on several days. The local restaurants were pleasant enough but not destinations of themselves."

"The villa is in a small village in the hills above Podstrana, and has amazing views across to the islands and over Split. The road up from the main road takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have, it's well worth it to enjoy the peace and quiet while at the same time being pretty close to Split. "Gorgeous villa with stunning view and fantastic facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, pool table and sauna. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior. Lovely welcome from Zorana who was always on hand to help provide recommendations and book restaurants, taxis, boat trips etc. Miljenko, the owner, was very prompt with his responses to queries before the holiday and provided return transfers to and from Split airport which was incredibly generous and much appreciated. "It was amazing experience to stay in this villa. We enjoyed it so much! It was very quiet area. Everything was clean and exactly as was described. Beautiful swimming pool and surrounding area with umbrellas, lounge chairs and sitting area with garden full of locally grown vegetables all that you allowed to eat. "This house was very clean, well cared for and worked perfectly for a group with children. We enjoyed the pool and outside area. Our group enjoys cooking and we were able to make meals for 9 people and used the bbq several times. Ivan was friendly and helpful. He provided recommendations for cafes, restaurants and beaches that didn’t disappoint. He visited the house a few times over our 7 days and checked in with us via text. He’s a great host! Overall it was a fantastic experience!"

Though the listing states the pool is salted, it barely is at all it’s very refreshing. The only thing is there are lots of steps without balustrades which could be an issue with older and very young guests. "My family has just spent 2 fabulous weeks staying at The Oasis. The accommodation has everything a family could need, for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The pool area was perfect, with a mix of sun and shade, and the salt water pool was certainly preferable to the standard chlorinated ones. "We had an amazing time staying at Antonela's villa. We stayed for a week on 30th May and the whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. For any family looking for a villa in Croatia I would highly recommend this place as the area around Split and Omis is a real treat for families.
