There is a lot to do on the Island of Korcula and we rented two cars for two days for under 200 Euro total from Atlas Rentals near the ferry stop. We visited Korcula, with gorgeous water views and visited two wineries. We hit two beaches on separate days. Swimming in late May was a little cool, but still doable. "Really great good sized villa with nice pool that was cleaned daily (from 7 to 9am) and wasn't too chlorinated. Lots of bathrooms which was great and an outdoor shower. It was a bit difficult to find the Villa when we arrived so more signs would help. Walk to the village wasn't too long with a good supermarket at the bottom of the hill but restaurant choice was a bit limited for vegetarians. Be careful if you are parking at Duba bay beach as we got a parking ticket. More information on the area...

"Stopped over for a few days in the middle of a busy trip around the region. Just what we were looking for to recharge our batteries - quiet, nice walks along the beach, literally across the street from the pebble beach. Very comfortable, everything we needed."
