"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner downstairs. There was plenty of parking space. The hotel was well maintained considering how old the house itself is."

"Received a warm welcome from the owners and staff at The River Don Tavern. Had a lovely meal, well cook with generous portions. Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park. Quiet farming village with safe walks for our dog. Enjoyed our stay. "
