"I give this property 3 stars only because: 1. Staff is friendly and polite 2. Beds are comfortable and clean 3. Room was clean and quiet Otherwise, it is an older property and it is pretty shabby and run down. Totally no frills. Lighting in the room is quite dim. There is an overpowering smell of disinfectant when you first enter the hotel. Couple more positive things: easy access to hwy, and 10% discount off order at Mustang Cafe down the street, which has excellent food and service."

"The room did not have a microwave, the doors in the lodge and to the room were sticky and difficult to open, the key to the room and the door was difficult to operate, the fan in the bathroom was as loud as a freight train, the restaurant tables were dirty, and the entire place needed a facelift. The staff, however, are lovely and accommodating."

"We were very disappointed in our stay. We have stayed at the Wlk View before and loved it. The place is just run down. There's no staff if you have a late check in. There's a note to get your key from a white drop box by the bar. Upon arrival, no key. Went into thw bar and waited 45 minutes for the bartender to get my key to me. (And it wasn't busy) Got to the room and the door looked like it had been kicked in. Door handle didn't turn all the way. No ice or vending machines or in room fridges...
