"A very clean hotel, and parking is available for €14.90 per night at P2 under the building (free entry and exit during your stay). You will need to because it is 25-30min walk to the city center. However, the swimming pool is incredibly poorly organized. The lady at the reception couldn't explain in English how it worked. The hotel DOES NOT have a pool. "Seemed quite a few units to stay in on the site. We were in (we think) the main garden unit. Condition was ok, looked like they were renovating the unit up. Not many lights working in the kitchen living area so was a little dark You can't really self cater as there is no crockery or pots pans cutlery etc. everything is provided by the host - unless they are slowly getting round to sorting this out. In the middle of nowhere so nice and quiet The outside space is lovely Quite a big area to chill...

"The hotel is about 9 minutes walk from the Metz railway station, but some road maintenance work is doing around the hotel which made it a little bit inconvenient to walk around. Hotel staff were polite & nice, air conditioning was good & quiet, breakfast with lots of choices. I definitely recommend this hotel & will stay again in the future."

"The Novotel in Metz was one of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in on our European tour. It is not as classy as we had expected and the decor in the room was dated especially the textured white walls. The plugs in both the sink and shower did not drain well and smelt. The bed was comfortable and pillows fluffy. There is an outside pool but it is very busy with children and not very big. The price of the hotel was not reflected in the stay. The underground parking is shared and smells like a public toilet, payable at the time of leaving."

"Not my first stay and not my last. Although small and compact, the rooms are always clean and comfortable for a casual stay. The furniture and bathroom always look and feel new, maybe because they are kept and cleaned very well. So I never feel like I’m in a tired building like sometimes I do in some chain hotels. Parking spaces are always available. The staff is extremely nice and professional. The free drinking water is a nice touch. I will go back for sure. "
