"Es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus ist einfach aber sehr schön und sauber. Eine tolle Aussicht. Wir waren zur Osterzeit vor Ort. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. "D Day 80th Anniversary Geraldine and Ida were the best hosts and their property is true to the photos; charming and comfortable. We stayed at the property at a very busy time. Nevertheless, Geraldine went above and beyond for us. She obtained access passes on June 6th, so we could travel freely in Normandy during this historical occasion. Visitors without the pass would be turned away at all the D Day commemorative sites due to special commemoration ceremonies for the 80th anniversary. She...

"A tidy modern house in a quiet village, overlooking a wild area with birds, owls, mammals and reeds. Enough services in the village such as boulangerie, bar and charcuterie to keep you going. 2 mins to a lovely beach with miles of walking. Would recommend if you are looking to explore the area."

"Very convenient to all the DDay Beaches close to Arromanches. A nice little house with with everything you need for a holiday except bath towels, washcloths and bath soap. There is parking onsite for your car and there is also a washing machine and clothesline for drying. The communication with the property owner was excellent. I would highly recommend this property if you are traveling to the beaches at Normandy."

The property description made no ref. to the living accom. being at 1st floor level up what can only be described at best as an extremely demanding staircase up which, on arrival we had somehow to drag our luggage and at the end of our holiday get our cases down. Three level changes as soon as you opened the entrance door! Toilet and bathroom facilities are at ground floor level so you can imagine...
