Upon arrival, there was music playing quite loudly until 11pm or later. When you walk into the house for the back, there were large over grown weeds we had to step over to get in. The inside of the house is updated nicely, but the beds need some attention!! They are mattress only and were not comfortable in my opinion. For the price, I didn’t feel the stay was worth the money at all. But we were in a crunch as our previous arrangements were canceled on us at the last minute.

Nicely renovated house with all you need for a weekend stay. Fun Kentucky themes in each room. It is located right next to train tracks, but it was not a distraction.

This property is in a great location. Easy access to highways for traveling and easy walking distance to the Logan St Market and Atrium Brewing (recommended). Off street parking is a breeze and the house is spacious and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Our family stayed here for a volleyball tournament and the location was very convenient between the two facilities where the tournament was. The property owner was incredibly helpful with answering questions quickly and clearly

We had a great, but short experience with our stay here! The house is so cute and well stocked! There’s a little yard area in back with some seating. The only con is that I wish we had stayed longer! I’d like to book again in the future! Lots of cool things in the area.

Very nicely decorated. Awesome stay. Off-street parking really makes this listing stand out. Plenty of space for 2 cars. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Everything was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay. Communication with the agent was quick and easy. Very responsive. Will stay here again.

I cannot say enough about the place it was awesome. The owner was also super. The back yard was perfect for letting the dogs out after a long day at the dog show. We found a little park near by where we could walk them. We look forward to coming back next year.

My family and I came down for a wedding and we chose to stay in this house. The house is just as pictured and very clean! A clean house is our top priority and this one did not disappoint. Bathrooms and floors were very clean. The bathrooms were also very well stocked with towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The beds were freshly made when we arrived. Another great perk was that with the few questions I had, the host responded within 10 minutes every time. :)

Overall, the stay was very good. We felt safe in the area and it was indeed walk-able to a few restaurants and bars. The proximity to Logan Street Market and the market itself were well above expectations. The fenced off backyard was extremely convenient for our pet (even though it is rocked and not grass) and the two dedicated parking spots adjacent to the yard were awesome for taking groceries and luggage in and out. The beds were comfortable enough but the property itself is only a few yards from an active rail line. There is an ordinance in place that prevents the trains from using their whistles in the neighborhood but you can still hear (and slightly feel) the train as it comes through from the bedrooms. The trains did occasionally wake us up but we were able to go back to sleep without issue. I still rank this property high since it served the needs of our family very well, but I would probably look for a quieter location if you are a very light sleeper.

This home was as lovely as promised. It is the cleanest and most comfortable Verbo we have stayed in our party included an 18 month old child he loved running up and down the hall. The space was comfortable enough that he could take a nap while the rest of us had fun in the living room. The kitchen was well-stocked enough for plenty of home-cooked meals. They were plenty of TVs and the one in the living room was perfect for watching our basketball and football games. We loved the neighborhood. It is in transition with lots of microbrews, Logan Street market, a collection of numerous eateries and businesses, is only three houses away. The parking was easy as was the initial access. My husband has mobility issues and was easily able to navigate a couple of steps to get into the house, and all three bedrooms were on the first floor, which was perfect. We did have a bit of a rough start with frozen pipes, as there had been a rare, deep freeze in Louisville where many homes. Experienced this in spite of leaving water, running and heating on so we were understanding of that, and all was taken care of by the time we arrived.

This property exceeded our expectations for our 6-day family baseball vacation. The property had all of the basic amenities and a few extras. Yes, the property is next to the train tracks, but after the first night, we hardly heard the train go through. The host was amazing, from the detailed check-in process to answering my questions within minutes when we ran into a couple of snags. In my opinion, the little things and personal touch make properties stand out. This property maintained hot water and strong water pressure, while people were showering at the same time. Shampoo, soap, ibuprofen, and other toiletries in each of the bathrooms. New appliances and basic cooking items. I recommend seeing what is in the house first, then going to the store to see what you need. Overall, I was very impressed with the property, but I have a few minor recommendations to make the experience even better for families. It wouldn't take much, but maybe a few popular board games or puzzles would be fun. We did leave our puzzle at the house when we left. The living room/kitchen furniture is a bit uncomfortable when sitting for longer periods of time, so maybe consider changing the chair options. My boys would have enjoyed something to do outside. The property has a comfortable seating area at the back. I am very happy with my choice of staying at this property; it is a well-maintained and managed home. thank you!

We were 4 friends traveling to Louisville to attend a weekend concert at Paristown. This location was great for that and the space gave us enough room for each of us to have our own bed with the use of a comfortable futon sofa in the living room. Super clean and very well equipped. The best part was having parking for 2 cars in the back. A short drive to downtown and Kroger’s for groceries. Easy access and efficient communication. Thanks!

We stayed at this cheery house in Shelby Park while attending an Expo. It was conveniently located to everything and there is plenty do around the area. The house was cute and clean providing just what we needed for a weekend getaway! We would definitely stay here again!
