"Very cute hotel with amazingly friendly staff. My only complaint is that "air condition" is not truly air conditioning, and in the heat of summer it was quite hot in the room."

"We had a lovely holiday, chilling, swimming in the pool or lake, watching the spectacular moonrises, listening to the extraordinary marsh frog songs from dusk until dawn, and exploring local forests by foot and pedal. Some of the digital/electrical tech was a bit quirky but in many ways that added to the charm of this bucolic retreat. "

"It was a lovely little gite, in a nice peaceful area, with beautiful scenery. Situated close enough to Chateabriant to be convenient for sightseeing/shopping/meals out, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The host, Melanie, literally could not do enough for us. She was incredibly friendly, informative, gave us good recommendations for places to eat, even did our washing for us! The gite itself was neat, clean and very cool, which was greatly appreciated in the middle of a heatwave. We definitely hope to be back!"

"DO NOT book this hotel. Made my reservation well in advance and when I had travelled 12 hours to get to this hotel for what I thought was going to be a romantic weekend the hotel was completely shut and gated up. The drive up to the hotel was also really sketchy. It's next to a hospital and kids sporting grounds covered in graffiti and rubbish. Do not be deceived by the photos. The grounds are awful and the owner obviously doesn't care about the customers. Appalling service. Please please don't ruin your holiday like I did. "
